These continuous furnaces are designed to accept up to 500 hot pressed components per hour.

The required metallurgical structure and hardness are achieved by controlling the temperature gradient down the length of the furnace.

Benefits of the furnace are:

  • Consistency of metallurgical structure and hardness for a complete batch of components.

  • Cuts out a complete re-heating process, which was previously done in a Batch Heat Treatment Furnace.

  • Fuel savings due to the use of residual heat in pressed components rather than re-heating.

  • Longer life for broaching tools, due to better consistency and quality of product.
